In this inspiring Rooted Minds Blog x Poetry.Hype interview, we had the pleasure of speaking with Kami Hill, a Licensed Esthetician, Poet, Creator, Model, and Intuitive Clairvoyant Healer. Originally from California, Kami’s journey has led her to Arizona, where she continues to evolve as an entrepreneur and artist.
She shared the most impactful lesson she’s learned: everything begins and ends with self—true power lies in harnessing one's own energy while uplifting others. Kami also discussed her transition from Pretty Girlz Skincare Lounge to Sacred Lotus Collective, a platform that blends skincare, healing, poetry, and self-awareness. Inspired by the resilience of the lotus flower, her work encourages evolution, creativity, and community.
Kami channels her soul’s purpose into various forms of artistic expression—whether through poetry, dance, rap, or spiritual readings—ensuring her message reaches people in meaningful ways. She shared insights into her marketing strategies, emphasizing the power of social media, word-of-mouth, and creative platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud.
When asked about growth as an entrepreneur, Kami highlighted the importance of documenting her journey, allowing others to learn from her experiences. She credits mentors and inspirations like Travis Olson, TheHoodHealer, Daylyt, and xxxtentacion for shaping her perspective.
